Grief and Loss

Loss can come in many forms, and the experience of grief is deeply personal. Loss during pregnancy, birth, or early parenthood can be profound, but grief is not limited to these experiences. Many people also seek support while navigating other losses—such as the death of a loved one, the loss of a pet, relationship changes, serious illness, or other life transitions. Whatever the source of your grief, you deserve space to process your experience with care and support.

I offer emotional and practical support to people experiencing loss. My role is not to “fix” grief or rush the healing process, but to walk alongside you with care, presence, and understanding.

Whether the loss is recent or you are navigating the ongoing impact of grief, you deserve support that honours your experience and your pace.

How I Can Support You

Grief support is tailored to the needs of each individual or family. Our time together may include:

• Compassionate listening and emotional support
• Guidance on self-care during grief
• Help navigating difficult decisions and arrangements
• Information about processes and options
• Support for partners and family members
• Space to process feelings, memories, and questions
• Referrals to additional resources when needed

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and no timeline you must follow. My role is simply to provide a supportive presence as you move through this difficult time.

What You Can Expect

Grief can affect everyone differently. Some people want to talk, others prefer quiet presence, practical guidance, or simply a place where their experience is acknowledged.

When we meet, you can expect:

• A non-judgmental and compassionate space
• Support that moves at your pace
• Respect for your beliefs, values, and decisions
• Gentle guidance without pressure or expectations
• Confidential conversations and emotional safety

You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. There is no “right way” to grieve, and our time together will always centre your needs.Support Options
